The contact owns a 2022 Ford Maverick. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The vehicle failed to accelerate as designed. The powertrain message was displayed. Additionally, the WRENCH symbol was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The Ford Pass App alerted the contact of the failure. The vehicle was taken to another local dealer, Loudon Motors Ford LLC (3476 Union Ave SE, Minerva, OH 44657); where it was diagnosed that the throttle assembly had caused the failure. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the local dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
driving down I 90 at 65 mph, powertrain/ power malfunction light came on and power was reduced to 20 mph. Very dangerous. This happened at least 4 times until I was able to return home. shut truck off and would go until the warning light came back on. contacting dealer tomorrow
El dia 21 de marzo del 2022 llegando a mi casa Y para ser bien especifica frente a mi casa me estaba acomodando para colocar en riversa mi guagua Y la misma SE acelero sola Y los frenos no le funcionaron, causando que me fuera por un risco. Los air bags nunca le abrieron.
