Takata recall -- it's been over a year since the initial recall notification, and parts are still not available to make the necessary repair. It's not reasonable to expect the vehicle to just be parked until replacement parts are made available.
Takata recall recall was initiated in may of 2015. This is still not resolved. It's pathetic that people who have already purchased vehicles have to drive around what could potentially be a ticking time bomb but the manufacturer can sell new models that haven't been bought by anyone and they get new airbags that I would hope would not potentially harmful the consumer.
Takata recall it has taken too long to replace these airbags and with the idea that in the event of an accident the airbag could cause shards to penetrate the driver or passenger, I am fearful of driving my vehicle. It has taken too long to replace the airbags and there is no solution in sight.
Takata recall...was notified back in July 2015.... have called and inquired about parts for over a year several times to several Ford dealerships and have been told no replacement parts available yet and that it's safe to drive my car"! really! it's now almost October 2016 and still no availability to fix yet they sent me yet another recall notice to have it fixed! I'm getting nervous about driving my car! the customer relations center for Ford motors to, D there is no rental car provisions and quite frankly not willing to risk my life or face for a fender bender! please notify me asap about possibly Ford taking this car back and I'll go buy something else if they can't take care of their existing customers and concerns about my safety! I am livid with this level or lack of customer service and their disconcert for me and my children's safety! May 2016 received another notice to no avail being able to replace! how in the world is this ok with the national traffic and motor vehicle Safety Act! I want better results than this! please help [xxx]/[xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
"takata recall" excessive wait time for a replacement of deadly safety issue. Live in Florida and can not take the risk of letting my daughter drive a car that could kill her. So it sits in the drive way and depreciates. I wish Ford treated their customers like Acura does.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15V319000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
Takata recall this recall was initiated in may of 2015 which is now 16 months ago and there are no parts available and no fix expected for another 3 months. Car has been to dealership twice for other general service and both times no fix available and no remorse on dealers part for having me continue to drive and pay for a car that by the stating of the recall could kill my son or his passengers with the equipment which is supposed to protect them in case of a crash. This is highly unacceptable as the reason the car was purchased was for safe transportation between college and home. The Ford dealer blames the airbag manufacturer but I didn't buy a takata I bought a Ford Mustang. They need alternate supply or they need to buy this car back at full retail value. I should not have to take a loss on a car due to them choosing the wrong parts supplier and failing to fix a potentially deadly defect. By law we can't keep loaded guns laying around where someone could accidentally discharge them but Ford apparently thinks we should continue to drive with one pointed at our heads.

Takata recall I have a vehicle that I don't feel comfortable driving and am unable to sell it due to the open and unresolved recall. Is there any recourse for owners that are in my same situation?
The manufacturer of this vehicle has no current solution to repair this recall. They will not offer a free rental car so I am stuck driving this vehicle with a known safety defect.
I just purchased this car and want to make sure they have my phone and address and wonder when they may take care of the recall. Nothing has happened just want more info, thank you.
Takata recall: We are in Texas, where the climate is very humid, and we have known about this takata airbag issue for over a year, yet, remedy is still not available. For how much longer are we supposed to wait and risk our lives every time we get behind the wheel?! please see below: Manufacturer recall number: 15S21 summary: In the subject vehicles, continued exposure to high levels of absolute humidity may cause the driver airbag inflator housing to rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash where the supplemental front airbags are designed to deploy. Safety risk: An inflator rupture could result in metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring vehicle occupants. Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver airbag inflator with a new one, free of charge. Recall status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available

Takata recall I received notice from Ford of the recall on my airbag in may of 2015. I live in orlando Florida, a hot and humid climate, which increases the danger of my airbag being dangerous to me and other occupants. It has been over 15 months and Ford is telling me there is not part for replacement and no timeline when the defective airbag can be replaced. I feel my life is in danger every day I drive this car.
Takata recall. I have been waiting for 15 months for repair. I live in Florida where there are high temps and humidity. I am supposed to have priority with there conditions. I think 15 months is way too long.
Received letter from Ford saying there was a recal a month after we purchased the vehicle in March 2015. We have called the dealership every week since and they are claiming Ford still doesnt have the part and they are not willing to give us a loaner. They told us if it does erupt dont worry because then we can sue Ford. I dont want a lawsuit I was my car fixed and to be safe
Takata recall:my vehicle was involved in an accident where the recalled airbags deployed. Because of the recall, there are no replacement airbags at the time. The conclusion Ford and my insurance company (aaa) came to was to put temporary airbags from another recalled 2014 Mustang into my car until the new airbags become available. My car is currently at the body shop but I wanted to ask if I should accept my car back from the body shop with those recalled airbags or get an attorney to help me out. I worry that if my car is involved in an accident they can cause serious or life threatening injuries.
