I purchased the car from fairway Toyota of albany, ga. The car is financed through motor finance of jacksonville, fl. My payments per month are $315.25 for 30 months starting from July 2002. I have had a mechanic to look at my car and I was told that the car transmission is slipping and it could get worst. I feel like car dealership already knew this and I got stuck with the lemon that I have paid more for the car than what it is worth. I did not have the best of credit when I purchase the car, however it doesn't give them the right to take advantage of people. I have paid $4,098.25 and I still owe atleast $5000. I tried to go and get another car and the car dealership informed me that I've paid more for the car than what it is worth.
