Over the last several years I've read that other connect owners have bene complaining and noticing and issue either while in or out of gear where the engine would shut off. I made a discover yesterday where I approached a stop light and the engine shut off and this wasn't due to the start stop being active. here's what happen. because i have long legs, I was adjusting my right leg when My knee touched the key in the ignition. which cause the engine to shut off. The key was not turned just nudged causing the engine to just shut off. Make sure you do not have extra keys of a heavy key chain on the FOB when in the ignition as this could also activate this shut down issue by cause the key fob to be too heavy resulting in the engine shutting off.
