My wife was lucky enough that it fell out just as she was leaving the house. I was able to find all of the parts in a 200 ft area of the road, jack the car up and reinstall the shaft. Then we contacted the service department to have them check it. I'm just relieved it didn't happen going down the road at 50 mph, since it was the front of the rear drive shaft that dropped out.
