Why should i be responsible for repairs on my envoy. the wiring harness that connects to a resistor for the Blower for the A/C is getting to hot and is starting to melt .causing the blower to stop working. Not good when you have to commute 35 miles one way in 100degree heat. Not only is it not good but also a fire hazard. there should be a recall on this because of endangerment to life and automobile .
Update from Aug 5, 2010: It cost near $300 to repair . I am hearing that this same problem occurs alot. Most business thrive on repeat coustomer .I can assure anyone that this will be my last GMC product i will ever buy. They do not stand by there product nor do they listen to the consumer. The mechanic said that the blowers are or shorting out which can cause the resistor and wire connector to heat up and melt. I will say i am a very unhappy coustomer......................
