Our 2008 GMC Envoy kept on getting louder and louder as time went on and when I went to check it out I found that the exhaust manifold had a crack in it about 3.5 inches long. If feel that this should be a recall do to I changed 3 od them in other GMC Envoy in the last 6 months. I own a state inspection repair garage in Pennsylvania.this is a very poor layout by GM. Also the secondary air pump on this same vehicle is a command problem. And the wiper spray nozzle is also another command poor design.

I started my vehicle in the am and it made a loud muffled noise. Took it to the mechanic and he showed me a picture of a crack in the xhaust manifold. I looked online and saw recalls for other years and models for GMC and Chevy. I think the 2008 Chevy Envoy should be included. It seems to be that the manifold is defective.
