9 days into the new lease of a new 2016 Denali pickup, I took it into the dealer for a transmission issue that they assured was just a need for a transmission “re-learn.†They ended up putting over 250 miles on the odometer for this “re-learning.†A month in the shop and it was determined that the torque converter was bad and was basically nearly causing the truck to stall when coming to a stop or a near stop and take off. The whole transmission was replaced.
