I love all the new gadgets on my new truck. I like the automatic lowering tailgate with the automatic lowering step. The only problem is that most people I know with trucks that actually use them to tow trailers or boats usually leave the trailer hitch in the receiver of the truck. Well normally that's no problem. Until now. So if you lower the step portion of the tailgate it will hit the installed hitch. I think for a truck that costs $67000.00 they should have added a sensor in the receiver that would send a signal that would not allow the step to fold down when a hitch is installed.
