Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about some vehicles that may have a concern of Bluetooth music skipping. This condition is a normal operating characteristic of the vehicle. Streaming music through Bluetooth uses a lot of the radio's processing resources. If the radio is also dedicating a large amount of resources to other applications such as navigation, booting, or XM Weather the Bluetooth audio may hesitate/skip as the system is being heavily loaded.
