Steering wheel trim bubbled up and peeled and faded. Door handles/ Arm rests peeled! Car bought last week march 2014! And by may, those damn things happened. Got warranty for arm rests but they gave warrant for the right and left front ones only steering wheel trim issues not given warranty. Anyway the arm rests that were changed, well, they are both peeling again! Warranty ended now stuck with these awful interior trims breaking down.

fading/discoloration of interior fading/discoloration of interior fading/discoloration of interior fading/discoloration of interior fading/discoloration of interior fading/discoloration of interior

Vehicle was purchased in April 2013 and in September of 2013 noticed the interior door panels, steering wheel, console fabric was fading or becoming discolored. Took the vehicle to the dealership and they said they would provide pictures of fading/discoloration to the manufacturer (Honda). Honda refused to replace the parts, replace the vehicle with a comparable vehicle with same mileage, or refund the price of the vehicle to include all taxes, registration fees, etc. It appears the manufacturer is only interested in selling their vehicles and have no concern for the customer. I would highly recommend you choose another manufacturer with more integrity and ethics. Once they sell you a vehicle they could care less. The defects are very noticeable and impact the value of this vehicle.

Update from Mar 22, 2014: It appears the manufacturer along with the National Center For Dispute Resolution (NCDS) do not consider vehicle interior defects as manufacturer defects and therefore will not rule in favor of the consumer. If you purchase a vehicle from America Honda Motors you better insure they will cover any possible interior cosmetic defects. After going through all the steps to have Honda take care of these problems as well as submitting a claim to the NCDS, it appears my claim was denied. All I can say is I would never buy another product from this manufacturer and I would highly recommend you get an additional warranty signed by your dealership along with Honda to state they will cover these kinds of problems. If you do not have a safety or use issue with a mechanical defect which would qualify under the Lemon Law, you should get an additional promise in writing that they cover any problems with the interior such as panels, fabric, etc. They can speak all they want about how they care about customer satisfaction, but they are talking out both sides of their mouth.
