The contact owns a 2011 Honda Fit. The contact stated that the rear passenger and driver's side doors failed to open. The occupants in the rear seats were unable to exit the vehicle. The occupants had to climb over the seat and exit through the front doors. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the door lock actuators needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
The contact owns a 2011 Honda Fit. While attempting to enter the vehicle, the power locks failed to disengage and the manual locks failed. Roadside assistance was called and unlocked all the doors except the front driver's side door. The failure worsened to the point where none of the doors could be opened from the inside. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the actuator failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 105,000.
