My 2020 Ridgeline engine began making a knocking sound. I took it in to have it serviced and was informed that I needed a new short block. The cost of this repair is roughly $10,000. Honda has agreed to pay $7,000 and I would need to pay $3,200.
My truck only has 70,000 miles on it. I purchased it because Hondas are supposed to be reliable and last. I take it in for all the recommended service. The engine should not have had a catastrophic failure.
