I bought a used 2007 Hyundai Entourage in July 2009. When we test drove it, there was no highway to take it on and it seemed ok on local road. There was a slight shimmy but we were told it was just from it sitting on lot. After purchase, when we took it on the parkway, we noticed a strong vibration in steering wheel at highway speeds. Had front and back brakes and rotors replaced, and tires balanced as well - all non warranty repairs. The problem still exists and is occurring while going down steep hills as well. I am very nervous driving this car and will not take it on the highway not knowing what is wrong with it.

After 23K miles of use, these tires have virtually no tread left. This was a brand new vehicle purchase and the tires came stock as part of the vehicle. We have been conscientious in rotating the tires and ensuring that the tires have proper inflation.

Entourage 6-cyl

  • 1,300 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Entourage. The day after the vehicle was purchased, the contact noticed ripples on the right side of the quarter panel. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and they kept and repaired it for two weeks. Shortly after she retrieved her vehicle, she noticed a severe vibration when driving over 55 mph. The vehicle was returned to the dealer and they stated that the failure was due to bent rims. The tires and rims were replaced, but the failure was never fully corrected. The vehicle has since been taken to the dealer on numerous occasions, but they stated that nothing else could be done. The powertrain was unknown. The failure mileage was 1,300 and current mileage was 18,000.
