The 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe limited was designed without a front dome light that would normally be actuated via keyless remote or by unlocking or by opening any of the doors. This is a safety issue when approaching the vehicle at night. Such devices have been standard equipment in vehicles for many years. Why has Hyundai chosen to forego this basic safety item?
