While driving 35 mph through an intersection on a city street, the entire electrical system failed and shut off. I was unable to steer or brake, but managed to coast into a parking lot. The entire dash panel repeatedly flashed and all warning symbols appeared on dash panel. Briefly the dash panel displayed connect fuel sensor before completely shutting off. We towed vehicle to dealership and was told it appeared to be a failed alternator and starter and compromised battery cable and sensor and wouldn't be covered under warranty. We had just had the fuel line sensor replaced under recall and now this. This is after the total engine failure and that led to the engine being replaced with what we told was a factory new engine that fell under the metal fragments in oil chamber recall. We are fortunate we were unharmed during this incident. This is extremely frustrating that we have been hit with recall after recall. We were told to not be surprised if this issue also became a matter of recall.

I was on my way to a softball field for my granddaughters game and after stopping at a stop sign, I began to accelerate and my car just died. I drifted over to the roadside and tried at least 5 times to restart the vehicle to no avail. I then called aaa auto and had the girls start walking toward the ball field, much against my better judgement ( ages 10 & 12). The vehicle I had towed Wednesday to my home. I now have no transportation. We were on a small connecting road between route 40 and275.

While driving on interstate, 65 miles hour, smell of burning coming from rear of SUV, 2013 hyundia Santa Fe sport 56K miles got out of SUV and my left rear brake was smoking very hot, took it to dealer and they looked at the left rear brake and said it was just the brake pad, repalced pad, but did not inspect all my brakes! then next day my left and right rear brakes locked up and was smoking, again took to dealership, they said nothing wrong! I was so confused, I called the Hyundai customer service they did a complaint form, it did no good for dealership did not fix or did they do a complete brake inspection, they say it would be to costly and would take to much time! and on the check in form they put mileage of 66K miles so as to look as it was out of warranty but yet the brakes lock up! I got a call from Hyundai service rep. Dave he said he wanted to make sure I as being taken care of and would see to that my brakes get fixed. But nothing ever came of it, he does not answer my calls and did not set anything up.... wow what a company. I looked up problem on the internet and yes there has been others with same problem with there brakes but nothing has ever come back from Hyundai saying that it is a problem, so I did the caliper replacement on my own and yes the calipers are shot! no good. So what good is there warranty?

I had just picked my vehicle from the dealer from having a 30,000 mile service completed. I left the dealership coming to a complete stop leaving the parking lot. Proceeded to the next stop light and came to a complete stop. The next stop light turned yellow and I was applying the brakes. I felt a pop in the brakes and the peddle went directly to the floor and the vehicle did not stop. I coasted to the next available place that I could pull off, and let the vehicle coast to a stop. I contacted the dealer and they came to get the vehicle. I followed the dealer driver as he drove the vehicle back to the dealership. On the way the courtesy driver came back with the mechanic. They popped the hood and he checked it out. When we got back to the dealership I asked what the mechanic was doing. He said he thought something may not have been connected from the service, which was not the case. They informed me they would call me in the morning with what they find. I had my daughter in the vehicle and we were lucky that it didn't happen at a busy intersection. My main concern is knowing my rights when I do get the vehicle and my concern that after a 30,000 mile tune up and a full vehicle inspection that this happened. I am concerned with the safety of myself, family and friends in this vehicle.
