My car has and was serviced on the air bag before and once again out of the blue the air bag light is on, no changes have occured with the vehicle, no accidents nothing new and I have check the website periodically to see if anything change
When I got my car..it seized on me.took to dealership than it was sent to hydai for the 11 recalls..and now the airbag light is on and does not turn off..it just turned on one day for no reason..not sure of the exact date.I can put approx.since date has to be added in order to select next
Driving home on November 24th 2018 I was on a gram to market road and a deer jumped in front of the car. When I went to brake and the car made a high screetch and didn't stop. When I hit the deer neither airbag deployed. It had just been returned to me from the previous engine recall
While driving and turning the steering wheel there is a knocking sound. The driver seat belt does not lock when hitting brakes and is loose. The passenger window on one side does not go down. The airbag signal stays on.
The airbag light came on (prohibiting my airbags to deploy if needed) and I have never been in any sort of accident and maintenance has always been kept up with. I called Hyundai and they wanted to charge a large amount of money for something that they have a monopoly on the repairs because nobody else can get the parts. From looking online there are numerous issues with Hyundai SRS. Many recalls have included the seat belts and air bags. There shouldn't be any reason the air bag light is on on my dash board other than that it is a Hyundai issue.
The airbag light came on and multiple cracks in my dash occurred on the passenger side. Car was sitting.parked in driveway when I started the car the airbag light was on and there was 3 cracks in the dash. The light had not been previously on.
So many issues my cars had...1 owner and several issues sadly could only pick 3: seat belt won't click on driver side sometimes it gets stuck, had the steering buttons fixed due to getting stuck, front passenger wheel has been checked several times due to the wheel vibrating when you hit a bump, hybrid battery went bad before 50,000, reading all the engine issues around 160, I'm thinking I need to back away from Hyundai forever!!! most recent hybrid warning do not drive & after researching there's been several issues with this, I'm thinking we could start a small class action suit against Hyundai!!!! car shut down and wouldn't go anywhere
The airbag light ha been on in my car for about 3-4 weeks and stays on continuously, will not go out. I have tried to have it reset, but it does not help. I believe this is or should be a recall because I have been reading over the internet and several other owners of this make and year model of Hyundai are also having these same issues. Also, there appears to be oil leakage but we cannot see it. We have to add oil to the car every week, even after we have had an oil change the week prior. I took it to Hyundai of bowie with these same issues several months ago, but they said there was no recall and before they could check it out, there would be a bill. I did not have the money and believe there is something wrong with the engine and may be part of the recall.
The vehicle has been parked in the driveway of our home and has not been driven for several days. Today, it was noticed that the side passenger airbag from the front window column deployed all on its own! there was no one in the vehicle fortunately whenever it went off.
About 2+ months ago, I had my car serviced for brakes, oil change, and filters. Within a day or two I noticed a crack on my dashboard near the airbag passenger unit. Thinking it was Florida heat related, I paid it no attention. During this covid pandemic I now see that the other side of the passenger airbag notation on the dashboard is cracked as well, and the last time my husband and I ran an errand, the airbag warning light went on. Now I'm afraid to use the car to any extent except around town for short errands and was wondering what I should do. The recall number 174 shows no open recalls on this issue...however....all receipts I have since I've owned this vehicle do not show it having been repaired. I see that the initial report of the recall (not remedy) was incorporated into the seat belt issue, however, the remedy notice is the one I have no record of having been repaired. The dealer has recommended other work be done on the vehicle each time I've brought it in for a recall item (??)!
In motion going 20 mph passenger side air bag deployed without accident. Air bag busted on my head, back, and right side of my face. With a powdery sharp film on me. Air bag recall was not fixed by the dealership. I reported it to Hyundai which lead to countless email with no repairs made. Seat and door panel is ruined with a crack in the windshield that has spread. Engine had been stalling and producing white smoke from the tailpipes. While in motion car completely shuts off and will not come back on. Dash board lights up goes off comes on displays key not in vehicle when the key is in the armrest plugged in. Brake pedal freezes up preventing the car to start. Radio does not work check engine light blinks on and off when car is in motion. Reach out to Hyundai webb on route 30 in merrillville, in. They had the vehicle for a month due to the engine recall and turbo recall. They forced me to pick the vehicle up after having it for a month. In motion from the dealership the car cuts off. I get it back on a big cloud of white smoke produces and cuts off again while in traffic. Prior to picking the car up the manager of the shop called informed me to come pick it up and bring a battery due to the battery in the car is dead. The car is at the dealership...they did not have the courtesy to charge to battery to test the work that was done. I take a battery up there they keep the car for another week or 2. when I pick it up the armrest is broken they put a screw in the positive cable post to hold the post in place; I guess. There are ashes on the floor as if someone was smoking in the car, put different color antifreeze in the antifreeze reservoir; meaning they mixed the fluids that would cause more problems. I called the manager again immediately and told him the car is doing the same things. Told me to drive the white smoke out, car is not safe to drive don't stay running.
My airbag light came on randomly one night and will not go off, it will flicker on and off but eventually just stays on. This happened a few nights ago. I noticed it once I parked at home. This morning when I crunk the car, it was on and then went off and came on every time I turned my steering wheel until it just stayed on for the remainder of my drive. Also the interior lights stay on unless I have them turned off (if they are set to come on with 'door open' they stay on indefinitely)
My airbag light is on have had no accidents and on the steering wheel it's seems to be open on its own a little bit could I drive my car this way? I was just routinely driving my car the light came on went off came back on and it's still on it's been a week now
