A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I was driving to work one day and my car lost power with no warning, no check engine light on, no low oil pressure light on, nothing - just died. The person driving behind me said my car was on fire. It had the potential to be a very bad situation, losing power on a highway and the car being on fire is not safe, at all. I brought it to a local mechanic and he said that I need a new engine. I was not happy about that as I up keep my car regularly. Luckily I have extended warranty but it has really been a pain in the ass trying to get my car fixed.

The dealership says that they found a hole in the engine block and it will be another month until they can fix it, and they are unable to approve a rental vehicle for me. This really has been the worst experience and now that I've had this problem I see that Hyundai has had lots of issues with their engines from prior years, and now I'm just part of the sh*tty engine group. Very disappointed as I thought this was a reliable company. I was wrong.
