The passenger side air bag does not activate for a passenger with an approx. Weight of 100 to 135 pounds. We have brought the vehicle into Jaguar and showed the service personnel that I, at 120 pounds, while sitting in the seat, the air bag is not activated. I was told that I need to extend my legs to activate it. I have brought the car to Jaguar on three different occasions, contacted Jaguar corporate and was told that there is no defect. I explained my concern for legal ramifications should the air bag not deploy in the event of an accident and was again and again told there was nothing the dealership or corporate would do.
