I was pulling out of the garage (luckily I had backed in) and without warning the car accelerated. Although it was necessary to depress the accelerator to get out of the garage, I did not accelerate THAT hard. I depressed the brake as hard as I could but it kept moving. I was able press the switch to turn it off and when I restarted it everything went fine. This could have been catastrophic had my children, wife, or parents been driving it.
