The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Compass. The contact stated after receiving notification of NHTSA campaign I.D. 13V120000 (fuel system, gasoline), the contact called the dealer to schedule an appointment. The dealer stated that they did not have the part needed to perform the recall repair. The contact called the dealer again, months later and was advised that although they did have the part available, they did not have the accompanying tool needed to perform the repair. The contact did call the manufacturer. The contact had not experienced a failure. Updated 10/17/13
