Owned car for 2 1/2 years with no problems. Today driving to town, made right turn to merge onto two lane highway. Car vibrated and lost power. Instrument lights came on including Electronic Throttle Control, (flashing) Electronic Stability Control, 4WD, Check Engine indicator. Pulled to side of road and engine idled rough. Put car in park and tried to rev engine, only went to 3000 RPM. Tried to put car in Drive LOW, got no reaction. Tried to remove car from 4WD, no reaction. Turned car around and limped back home, no faster than 40 MPH. Turned up street to my home and car BARELY made it, hardly any power to climb small incline.
Very frustrated as we like this car a lot. Taking to dealer to try and find an answer. This would be VERY DANGEROUS if it were to happen on interstate. SHOULD BE A RECALL I would think
