The tension module is $400.00 which I find that cost not my responsibility to pay for. Obviously it is a manufacturer problem that needs to be taken care of. Since it is a definitely a safety issue and would cause the vehicle to fail safety and smog test for vehicle registration.

My mom bought me a Jeep Liberty Unlimited '02 from Michael Holes, Carson City, NV. We have had nothing but problems. Their was no warranty on the Jeep, we would have to buy that. The bar from the sun roof was never attached, I have it in my Jeep. So when it rains it will leak bad all over the window dripping on you. The next day I had to go back to the dealer already. The back window on the passenger side would not go up. That's when I found out about the warranty. They pay half and I do the same. I don't have that kind of money, but I payed it. My parents would have been upset about that already. They charge $200.

Well about 1 year later, I went to Virginia and the driver window did the same thing cost us $150. Then back to NV 2 yrs later, the same window in the back passenger window did it again, and the other passenger window will not go up. I am getting tired of fixing them, so I tape them.

In 2013 I had to replace most of the lifters they fell apart, and the head. it took awhile to fix. I was inform that the engine for my jeep was poorly made with a lot of problems. Well I surely have that. Now the airbag light keeps going on and off. this started in Oct.' 14. So know I find out that I have 3 recalls with no parts to fix them. so the airbag can just go off at any time. Well buying this jeep is a nightmare to me. I love it at first never again. I believe you need to fix the recall parts or replace the jeep, don't care how it is done. safety is most important to me. Never again what a bad experience.

Since the recall for the air bag sensor / control module letter was sent to me, I have tried several times to get it fixed and have called Chrysler-Jeep four times and I have been told on all calls that the parts are not available.

The first time I called I was told a letter would be sent to me on August 6th 2013 and once I receive the letter I could take my Liberty down and have the problem corrected. As of today, 8-29-13 I have still not received a letter from Chrysler. I called again today and was told the parts were still not available and they (Chrysler Jeep) did not know when they would be available.

This is the only vehicle I own and my only transportation. My wife tried to take the liberty to a jeep dealer and was stopped and given a ticket for expired inspection (this is in Virginia). she showed the officer the original letter we received and told him she was trying to get to the jeep dealership but she was told that was not his problem, so now it is costing me $90.00 dollars. the inspection was past due in July 2013 and when my wife was stopped it was on August 02-2013.

No one will inspect the liberty because the air bag light is considered a safety issue. I have even tried to get the local jeep dealership to give me a loaner but was also told they can not do that since it is not a new vehicle.

After the recall is fixed, when ever, I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER JEEP OR CHRYSLER PRODUCT.
