I maintain my vehicle. I replaced the radiator in March. I felt like the car was running hot, but the gauges did NOT move. I checked the water and oil and it was fine. The next day I drove 5 miles on an errand and 5 miles back. My gauges were fine. I pull up to my house and steam is bursting out and water gushing out. I thought the radiator blew out because of the amount of water. I towed to the shop that fixed the radiator and the called to inform me it is a head gasket. How does this happen when you maintain your vehicle and why didn't the gauges indicate any sort of problem? It is not an expense I can afford, and I am not sure if it is worth fixing. FML
