I have had the gas cap message on for three months. I have exchanged it out for two gas caps. Been to Autozone three times to get a generic diagnostic (EVAP issue). I've spend $75 for a EVAP test, no resolution. Another $90 for EVAP test with a different mechanic, no resolution. I'm going to spend another $75 smoke EVAP test tomorrow. I am tired of dumping money in this Jeep Liberty. I spent $20000 for. Its been nothing but a headache.
