I purchased the Jeep Renegade 2018 4.2 engine for my daughter. I was told when I purchased vehicle to have oil change every 5000 miles. However, she drove car appox 4000 miles oil was completely low. The company towed car in and checked oil. They did not do any diagnostic test just stated it was low. No freaking joke... and added oil. They did an oil consumption test 1 time and stated car is ok. Checked oil today 5-1-19 mileage is 8460 oil is low. Had local AutoZone place 1 quart of oil. So, I will take car back to another dealership for another oil consumption test every 1000mile up to 3000 miles. If I am not satisfied I will definitely be trading this car. I am told because engine is big it requires to have oil change often.
