From the day of purchase my spouse and I found constant problems with the Renegade. They were all reported and we were told these problems were actually special "features of the car's manufacturing process". The claim is ridiculous as most of my complaints are worth mentioning.
This particular issue drives me nuts! The door to the gas port does not lock when shut, and does not have a cap (screw on or otherwise), not even as 3rd party purchase. The entire reason I had to buy a new car is because my previous vehicle was vandalized by someone who put sugar in the gas tank. I can't believe anyone would ever manufacture a vehicle with absolutely no possible way to protect the most important part of the functionality of a vehicle. It's just stupid, and they call it a "feature" - what absurdity!
