This is my 3rd Jeep that I have owned and sad to say that it will be my LAST! 2008 Rubicon 4 door retail was north of $45K at 90,000 miles started having an electrical issue that could not be diagnosed. at 115,000 miles the jeep started having issues with the electronic gas pedal shutting down. and then shortly after went into limp mode and would not come out. Had to be towed to AAMCO to figure things out.
after frying the 2nd Transmission module in a row they figured out that there was a wire in the Transmission harness that was melted and shorted out the Shift Solenoid inside the transmission. We are over 6 weeks into it and over $2000.00 and still not drivable. Sounds like Jeep is making plenty of people mad with these little electrical "gremlins".
