The fuel filler neck has an issue. When I refuel, I have to stop the pump manually or the filler cap will overflow. This creates a significant risk for fire or explosion unless I very carefully monitor how much fuel I am putting in the vehicle. I see several other owners experiencing this issue from online information I'm reading. I feel that this is an issue which should be repaired by the manufacturer.
I own the Jeep for 6 months now and at each fill up, fuel gets spit out of f the filler neck at the end. I try running slow, manual and the noses in different position. The jeep dealer say, there is no problem or recall for my VIN. But there is a recall part :(CNNNX321AC Tube) available form Mopar, there don't sell to the public. I like to fix this problem for more than one reason. Environmental, wasting Fuel, damaging the paint and plastic, fire hazard and fuel smell on my closes. I am a retired senior master Car technician, German (Kraftfahrzeug mechaniker Meister)with 50 years experience.
This has happened on more than 1 occasion. Driving on the highway and I lose power, the Jeep slows way down, the accelerator pedal is dead, and the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) light comes on. It does the same thing driving in town. Sometimes you can turn the vehicle off, wait a couple minutes, start it back up and it will be ok for a little bit. Sometimes it won-??t. I have replaced some parts, read forums, communicated with a dealer service department and it doesn-??t sound like there is a -??fix-?? for this. This is very dangerous and someone could get seriously injured or killed.
When fueling vehicle overflow pours out of the tank and on to the vehicle and ground when filled. I've owned the vehicle for 14 months and has been doing this since purchased.

Gas going all over the place and on me. Also the Jeep jerks so bad that I almost hit my head. The transmisson was changed 30,000 miles again and runs like crap.
Gas overspills from the tank. Does not automatically stop when filling causing gas to splash on the owner, vehicle, and ground. Happens every time we attempt to fill the truck unless we manually stop entering gas before it's full.
When filling the tank with gas the gas pump does not auto stop filling and gas sprays out of the fill opening around the pump handle. This happens every time I fill up and as a result I must always fill the tank manually. This has happened since 2008 when I purchased the car.
Every time I fill up my gas tank, no matter what gas station, I always get about a cup of gas that spits back out of the filler port. The nozzle always clicks off but the gas just keeps coming.
Gasoline splash back when filling gas tank. The Jeep was in park and level. Gasoline burped out of fuel filler tank tube. All over the Jeep and ground. This happens every time I fill the tank. Also gets on clothes.
When filling up with gas at the gas station even if I manually stop the gas flow early the gas overflows out on to the bumper and ground. Major gas spitback!
When I fill up the vehicle, gas flows backwards out of the filler neck and pours down the side of the vehicle onto the ground. The fuel also splashes onto me as well. I have the vehicle completely off keys out of the ignition and in park.
When filling up at the gas station, the fuel pump will kick off and a second later gas comes flying out of the tank and hits me, my Jeep and goes all over the ground.
Vehicle was stationary at fuel pump with the fuel tank half full. Began refueling and had an immediate back splash /spewing of fuel. Estimate at least a half gallon was spilled onto the vehicle, the ground and on my person.
Since 2017, every time I pump fuel into the car at gas station, the pump overflows and spills all over the side of the car, the ground and then my feet and hands because I have to step in the puddle and put the gas cap on. I moved to tn from ca in 2016 and I have been thinking that it the shell gas pumps here in tn that were causing it...as if they were old or not up to some sort of "ca standard" or something. However, after this problem just happened to my pregnant wife with our 2 year old in the car, I decided to check a Jeep forum and see if anyone else is having this problem. Lo and behold, this appears to be a serious issue dating back 10 years to a 2010 forum I found. Url: Https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/F176/have-fuel-spill-problems-like-many-us-submit-complaint-force-recall-974337/ this video shows exactly what happens: Https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=7&V=hae5ht-_Y48&feature=emb_logo this is a serious risk of fire and safety...for not just me, but any patron at a gas station who is either there with me or drives up to my pump after me. The fumes are now on our feet and then in the car...then we go home or where and spread that gasoline fumes around everywhere we go. This is a serious safety issue and I'm very concerned why there is no recall on this given the ease to diagnose this problem with one simple google search. I'm very concerned...
When refueling at any gas station when the tank reaches a certain point the gasoline comes back out spraying over the side of vehicle and on me leaving gasoline on the ground and myself covered in gas
