We were unaware that the Jeep Wrangler soft top canvases are prone to crack in weather 41 degrees and below. We had our jeep in 30 degree weather and the full back panel split in two. Jeep refused to cover this because they said we should have known not to use the canvas when it's cold out because the issue is listed on page 227 of the owners manual that you can call their 1-800 number for (they don't give you a copy when you purchase the car... They just give you a shorter user guide with no mention of this issue).
So there expectation is for us not to use our soft top canvas the entire winter season... So in other words we can't open our trunk for 3 to 4 months out of the year... And I live in the South. If you live up North, you wouldn't be able to use the canvas for 1/2 the year!!
