I took the Kia Forte 2012 for DMV inspection and it failed and I was advised by the NJ DMV inspector to go back to the car dealer and I did. I was told that this always happens with Kia if you don't drive it enough. I allow the car dealer to drive my car 104 miles and I took it right back to NJ DMV and it failed again after I was assured by Global Automall in South Plainfield, NJ that it was okay and paid over $200.00. I took the car to NJ DMV 3 times and fail for fuel system.
I took it to another mechanic and he is also state certified and he put in a new battery. My employer drove the car 300 miles and took it back to the certified mechanic for an inspection and it failed for fuel system. I don't want to end up with a ticket for failed vehicle inspection. Can you please advise? The car dealership is trying to make a job out of it and I was told the car was in great condition and the car dealer was trying to push me into another car which I cannot afford. I just want to pass the state inspection. How do I contact Kia? Can you advise me?
