While driving my 2017 Kia Forte LX the vehicle randomly shuts off. It does not lose power but the engine itself seems to stall out. This happens at random and without any warning. Vehicle has been to the dealership for repairs, where (the first time) they stated they could not replicate the problem and had me come get it, only 34 miles of driving and it shuts off again... still without warning.
So I had it towed back to the dealership. The service department claimed to have found the issue and essentially replaced the whole top of the motor, and after almost 3 weeks had me pick my vehicle up. Only this time the steering is loose, the brakes don't want to work properly, the vehicle doesn't shift properly and it shut off on me after 15 miles. This time it would not start back up and I had to drift it to a parking spot.
