On 11/22/19, on my way to work in the morning, my 2019 Kia Forte S started to randomly rev up on the highway. At first, I didn't think much of it, but then it started to lose acceleration. I tried to use the manual shifting, but no help. I pulled to the side of the highway to avoid a crash. I was able to put the car in what I believe it was first gear and luckily there was a KIA dealership 2 miles away. I drove it in first gear with the car revving up and down to the dealership. They told my is the transmission and they are checking the issue. I found this website and see other problems just like mine in the same model and year car. F*, now I am horrified I really bought a s**y car!! I am still here waiting to see how this story will end.
