Car stopped while downshifting around a corner. Had to have it towed, dealership advised there was a backorder with no ETA for the transmission and could be without car indefinitely.. Extended warranty company did not want to pay for rental and only covered $35.00 a day for seven days. Car was in shop 18 days. Kia would not cover a rental either. After talking with multiple kia dealers found out this is not uncommon problem in the 2021 forte.
