really awful
brakes problem

Only 2 weeks into owning the vehicle I got in an accident. For unknown reasons the driver in front of me put on the brakes and my car kept on going even when I slammed on the brakes. I rear ended the vehicle in front. The speeds were I would say below 35-40 mph as it was not a highway. I was in no way speeding or tailgating. I have driven for over 30 years and first time I purchased a vehicle just to help in cases like this, it did absolutely nothing at all. My insurance agency says I will have to pay for an investigation and diagnosis and get an attorney to find why the system I paid for failed to work. I will have to spend this week having to deal with this issue that I paid good money to avoid.

Had a 2018 kia niro hybrid from new had regular maintenance done on it just had brakes and rotors put on it I never had to slam on brakes since I owned the car went to Virginia from Pennsylvania then on the way back going about 40 some guy slams his brakes on then had to do my brake pedal hold to the floor the car didn't even stop it didn't have no skid marks hit the car air bags went off totaling the car don't know if kia has problems with brake system
