A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I went down to see my sick Grandma, Driving my Subaru Forester and started having engine problems. I left the Subaru at my Grandmas house and rented the only car on the west coast in Marina Ca. It was a 2023 Kia Niro all electric no gas. It took me 20 minutes just to figure out how to get it out of the parking lot! I actually considered buying an electric vehicle before driving one. The Niro was actually really nice except for the auto driving. Auto driving is good if you want to crash by falling asleep or the auto drive try's taking a California 20 mph exit off the freeway going 70 mph! Talk about distracted driving! Very easy to look at the scenery, Or your phone and not pay attention to the road. And if you have plenty of time and money to waste charging it.

The Kia Niro comes with a plug to plug it into a 120 volt house plug. I plugged it in overnight for 12 hours and it literally went up 2 percent WTF!? So I take the car to a charging station and had a hell of a time finding one and getting the electric pump to work! I finally got it charging and the pump tells me that it's going to be A HOUR AND A HALF before it gets to 80% ! I don't get it!? Who has that kind of time to waste!? I will never buy a electric vehicle!

Long story short, In my Subaru it takes me 6 hours to get to my Grandmas house and 40$ in gas and 5 minutes to fill up the tank. In the KIA Niro the same trip it took me OVER 11 HOURS AND OVER 60$ in bought electricity!? And good luck finding a charging station! I was in a panic attack trying to find charging stations! I am shocked that I actually made it to my destination and didn't get stuck on the side of the road with ZERO ELECTRICITY! I thought it was cheaper to drive a Electric Vehicle!? Definitely Not! This complaint is for ALL of the people considering buying a Electric Piece Of Sh*t! And hopefully I will save you ALL the headache and stress of driving a "EV"! And if you do buy one? Be sure to put a generator in the back and keep your eyes on the road! And have LOTS OF TIME TO WASTE FILLING IT UP WITH ELECTRICITY!

Good Luck ?
