I call Kia because the engine was making a knocking noise and they said bring it in. They found some sludge and never even looked at what was making the noise. They said sorry but they wouldn't help. I started driving home and I stopped at a light and as I started to go smoke came up over the hood. I quickly pulled into a parking lot. It burnt to a crisp!
I called up Kia and made a report. Kia called back and talked with me. They asked what I wanted out of it, I said I wanted to know what caused the fire so they reviewed the pictures I sent. Called me back later saying they wont even look t it and throwing warranty warranty warranty at me.
I looked up Kia fires and I had the 2.4L, 60,000 miles, they found some sludge, and the engine was starting to make a funny noise l signs of they're faulty engines. I then reported it to all the places I could to get my story out there. I read they are looking into the cars that set fire but they wouldn't even try...
