BRAND NEW CAR navigation acting up. Nothing else!! Was told to 'update my maps". So I down loaded what Kia told me to and it CHANGED EVERYTHING!! I couldn't even use my owners manual to help me learn this new (crappy) "update". In a 5mo car!! It went from having everything you need on one screen to having to switch back and forth WHILE DRIVING to get to the screen you need. It's laggie and hard to use.
I asked to just reinstall old system and apparently that's impossible, because we all know you can't uninstall an app or program from your computer... it's a COMPUTER!!! Kia has been indifferent to the problem and me. When you call the dealer they say they have to call Kia, when I call Kia they say the dealer does that. Way to not take care KIA!! If they would have told me I was changing the whole operating system to "update my maps" I would have NEVER done it. IT IS AWWWWFULL. Went from loving this car to can't wait till I can get rid of it. That's how bad it is.
Update from Aug 21, 2021: just getting worse. At random the phone portion in informat system won't work. try to connect and screen just goes black. Randomly displays or trys to route info????when starting up will take a lot more time to load...anything! half the screen show map or radio and the other still on confirm screen. Dealer says, "can't dublicate" infers I am lying and does nothing. for weeks everytime I started my car I had to press a button to get to the screen I wanted, now all the sudden...screen magicly stays on what it was on when the car was shut off .You can NOT tell me this is right!! Well ha, this time I am armed with vidoe proof!!!....
