First owner of 2018 Kia soul 1.6l. Have taken excellent care of the vehicle by getting all required maintenance full synthetic oil changes every 4000 miles and using only top tier gas. Regardless of all the good care of the vehicle the fuel injectors failed. I was driving home from work and at a red light vehicle started running rough and dark smoke pouring out of the tailpipe. Barely made it off to the side of the road. Called and got it towed to the nearest dealership since the car only has 80,000 miles on it and still under warranty.

Took 2 weeks to find out that the fuel injector had failed and needed all replaced. Dealership ordered parts and a week later informed me the repair is not covered under warranty. Ridiculous! Kia has 10 year 100,000 mile engine warranty. Fuel injectors are part of the engine. But according to Kia America they only have a 5 year warranty. They must know their crap parts are going to fail. So I had to pay out of pocket for the repair. Never will I get another Kia again.
