Spectra EX 2.0L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,445 miles

I feel like this should be a recall! I just had the undercoat taken care of (the last recall) I feel like this should also be taken care of as I sometimes have small children in my car and I hope this will get fixed before I have kids (I'm only 20) I don't feel comfortable having anyone in the back seat of my 4 door car due to the seat belts on the sides don't always work. I have to wait and sometimes get out and help them "fix" the damn thing so they aren't riding in the car without being buckled. Sometimes I'll even have them switch to the middle as long as there is the ability to.

Spectra SX 2.0L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

The two outboard rear seats have always been tempermental at unwinding or inadvertently locking-up and having to disconnect them, fully retract and then try again. The front seat belts have always worked fine. During a rear strut replacement, the seat belt retractor assembly must be removed to access the top nut of the strut. Upon unwinding and attempting to mount the retractor assembly back on, both were locked up. No matter which orientation or tapping on the cylinder to try to get the mechanisms to disengage, they won't unlock. Well, then I folded the seats down to get a better look, the mechanisms retracted all the way to the seat bottom and now I can't fold the seats back up because the retractors are in the way. So now I have a 4 door hatchback two-seater coupe and can't fit three kids in the back anymore. Recall notices??

Spectra EX 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

seat belt doesnt retract. The seat belt was replaced under warrany. I drive all highway miles and accumulate miles quickly. The seat belt on the drivers side fails to retract and gets caught in the door when closing. I am not sure if this would cause an issue if I were in a collision The seat belt has been replaced once for this concern and happened again after the 60,000 mile basic warranty expired. The car now has 115,000 miles
