The contact owns a 2022 Kia Telluride. The contact stated while placing the tongue of the seat belt into the receiver, the driver-€™s side front seat belt assembly separated from the body of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the seat belt assembly was torqued to the manufacturer specs. The other seat belt assemblies were checked. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The failure mileage was 4,040.
