The contact owns a 2024 Kia Telluride. The contact stated that all four windows' exterior B-pillar trims had detached. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the B-pillars needed to be replaced; however, the parts were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed being aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
The contact owns a 2024 Kia Telluride. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 MPH, he observed a metal trim on the driver's window detached partially. The contact inspected the vehicle and observed a big jagged metal sticking out from the bottom of the driver's window. The vehicle was taken to a dealer twice where the dealer taped the trim, but the failure re-occurred within hours each time. On one occasion while parked, a friend's child ran near the vehicle, was caught by the protruding metal trim, and seriously scratched. Medical attention was not needed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 13,000.
