Lost of rear brakes due to the lack of a braking system where wear indicators (sensors or light indicators) were left off my 2004 Lincoln Navigator by the manufacturer. No sensors on the outer rear and front brake pads. This could have been a disaster for me and my wife if I was travel highway speeds on a road trip and the brakes suddenly failed without notice or warning.
I have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator with 99,000 miles on it. I noticed that there is a recall for the 2009 for an intermittent brake light failure problem. I have just begun to have this same problem on my truck. If I lightly brake none of the brake lights work but if I push the brake pedal all the way to the floor they all three come on.
