The gas gauge reads empty when filling up. It will show full again after you drive quite a ways. It's an intermittent problem. Use 2 bottle with fill up and 1 more on next fill up and the problem goes away for 15 months or so, then repeat. A film build up on the float sensor does this fun thing.
