Driving down the expressway at 4 AM when the car had a message and read saying do not change gears alert. I hardly got over to the emergency lane when all systems did not work. The axle, differential and oil pan broke. Had to be towed after waiting 2 1/2 hours for a tow.

Faulty crankcase vent valve causing oil to leak into electrical lines of engine with car at 42,000 miles. This was confirmed by dealer. Multiple other Mercedes Benz car owners have had this issue with the crankcase vent valve with simple internet search. Fortunately, the car was taken to dealer before any event occurred but this a safety issue.

check engine light comes one and give code: P052E - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Regulator Valve This is a faulty part that commonly breaks down in all Mercedes GLC 300 and C class. It's part of the emissions system and should be covered under the federal warranty. However, Mercedes won't cover it and charges $3000 for the repair. This is unsafe and unfair practice as they're selling vehicles that they know will break down eventually and could cause harm to their "customers".

At ~40,000 miles my check engine light came on. I took it into the shop for a diagnostic and they informed me that I need to replace the Positive Crankcase ventilation valve/Air Intake Hose. They told me that this is a common issue with this make of Mercedes and that they have done about 4 in just the past few months. Furthermore, they told me that this issue has been fixed on newer models of the same vehicle. This seems like the responsibility of Mercedes to fix this known issue with their car via a recall.

I was on my way to jury duty when the sensor which regulates acceleration went out. This nearly prevented the safe driving, speed control and acceleration of the vehicle. I was trying to enter the freeway on one of the busiest freeways in the area of pearland, tx. I was so frantic, I began to cry and prayed to reach the exit nearest my home and immediately pulled into the Goodyear auto center. I paid for the repair out- of-pocket because I had no choice. The vehicle was unsafe to drive, the nearest mb dealership is approximately 20 miles away.

In motion on the highway the glass sunroof panel detached from the vehicle, there's nothing that I did that could have caused that piece to detach the way it did. I have seen recalls for other model vehicles for Mercedes-Benz for this same reason.

Since we purchased this car in December 2015, we have had a series of electrical and engine problems that do not seem to fixable by the dealer. The car was serviced (3 years or 30,000 miles) consumer also had issues with faulty radar sensor, power control unit, engine light, and faulty crankcase vent system.

With the introduction of self driving features new passernger saftey regulations are needed. My car, an added feature, is distronic safety system, self drive mode. When the car is at acomplete stop it will sense if some is about to rear end you. The car completely locks down. With impact the passengers in the vechile take a full body impact. The current seatbelts do protect the left side of the body but the right side gets sever damage. Harness seat belts such as race car drivers us or children car seat would minimize right body injures. This feature equates the impact to hitting a brick wall. My accident was on a busy highway.

At 7:30 am on June 10, 2016, while driving North on rte. 495 in Delaware in our 5-month-old mb - glc 300, the panoramic sunroof suddenly and without any warning exploded and shattered outward. The sound was as loud as a bomb. As shown in the photographs, nearly all the sunroof was blown out, with only a little glass remaining around the frame. The shattered glass fragments either flew off or settled on top of the shade screen. We were driving at approximately 65 mph and there were no cars directly in front of us or behind. We had the air conditioning system on with the outside temperature at about 70F. It was a clear morning and the sun had just risen. Our mb dealer in germantown, md said they were not aware of other instances of exploding glass sunroofs
