Driver's seatbelt is latched and it shows as unlatched with tge seatbelt sensor going off. On the dashboard it also shows the airbag icon

The contact owns a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Glc300. The contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated at start-up. The contact took the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of myrtle beach (936 jason blvd, myrtle beach, SC 29577) where she was informed that the air bag control unit processor was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not under recall. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000.
