Ok so our clutch went out and we had to replace it along with the flywheel. When we arrived to pick up our vehicle Mini had a few recommendations for our car. (1) bulb replacement (2) brake service (3) Oil & filter Change (4) possible Thermostate Leak. After a few days of the driving the car we noticed a problem with the clutch making a wierd sound when changing from 2nd to 3rd gear. We notified mini that we need to have the car looked at again due to the gears not changing properly and by the way our engine light is on.So we decided to have the minor recommended repairs done at a import repair shop prior to our appointment date. We had the brakes repaired along with an oil change and we replaced the thermostat (which all parts were purchased from the mini parts dept) so far we have spent 3,500 We feel a little sabotoging going on hmm! so we called coorporate and they recommended we take our car to another Dealship because of the poor customer service we received at Mini of Southfield. Now we're at another mini dealership who has had our car for almost 2 1/2 weeks and there not really sure whats wrong with it. They now want us to spend another 750.00 to replace the thermostat and have 4 spark plugs replaced ( which they said that will take 3 hrs to replace 4 spark plugs really!!) now they to have a list of reccomendations for us. We were told that they couldn't test drive the car becuase it wouldn't start and it was running rough. Now their recommendation are we need a new thermostate the one we had put in is defected,(but we purchased it from mini) we also need new tires and a battery. Why werent we told this before when a dianosis test was done at the other mini. Also we had a dianostic test done on the car by 2 other repair shops and they told us nothing was wrong with our car. Mini has just informed us that if they don't do the work on the car they don't acknowledge it. We are so fustrated and angry because everytime we go into mini it's something different. $$$$ I heard they work on commission is that true? FYI mini forgot we purchased a battery from them last year costing us $300

This car had way too much turbo lag when I test drove it. It wasn't funny at all.
