This is a new vehicle with only 8025 miles on it. I was driving with no problems, the vehicle gave absolutely no indication of any issue. I arrived at a supermarket parking lot and parked. Placed the vehicle shifter in the PARK position and applied the hand brake. I finished shopping, came back and attempted to start the engine. To my surprise nothing happed. The engine did not crank at all in any shifter position. All the indicator lights and radio worked with no problem.
The tow truck arrived, we pushed the Frontier out of the parking spot to align with the tow truck. The parking lot had a slight decline towards the tow truck. I placed the shifter in PARK and the Frontier started rolling. Apparently the transmission was not going into PARK. Currently the Frontier is still at the dealership.
