My Frontier has a hard time filling up at the pump. The pump usually shuts off and I fell like my $25 fill up was a deal until I turn on the engine and realize it's about 1/8th from being completely filled. At first I thought this was the pump at a particular gas station I usually use, but after trying other stations, this problem continues. This problem is intermittent as in it doesn't happen at every fill, but when it does, it's such a pain in the butt because the pump usually won't read your card again because you've used it recently. So you pull out the debit card hoping you don't get hosed from a card reader or you go on your merry way having a twitch in your eye as you reset your odometer to 0.00.
I guess one could use The Force and continue squeezing the pump, but I'm not a fan of smelling like gas.
Can't put more than 2 gallons before the gas spews out of the fill pipe and kicks the nozzle off, it takes for ever to fill the tank. This happens no matter which gas station I go to fill up, annoying as hell - especially when there is someone waiting in line to fill up.
Nissan should have a fix for this problem, no other vehicle I have owned before has ever done this.
