2011 JUKE...Engine light goes on and off..went to state inspection and failed because of it! My regular mechanic said the air flow is within safety parameters, but it can only be fixed by the computer subsystem of Nissan!

I don't understand how or why a sensor even needs to be replaced in the first place and yes, I'm at 60 miles too... They obviously know exactly. When I asked them why or how..they claimed 'leaves' go in the air filter!! C'mon, seriously! I don't live in the Adirondacks!!..it's normal wear and tear, routine scheduled service with my own mechanic, but with a cheap device installed in the first place! Costing me close to $600!

BTW: when my car was serviced, I was told there was a recall for another sensor..maybe all the sensors need to be recalled! ( never received any notice?? )..just too much of a coincidence! Love the car, but despise the exorbitant charges Nissan soaks you with..and you really don't have any choice b/c they need to re-key the car's computer system..

Update from Nov 16, 2018: Don't waste a minute of your time contactin the Nissan Headquarters Consumer Affairs..you're just a statistic, of them trying to boost their status..They'll call, leave messages, and will do NOTHING but refer you back to the dealership..stating it's out of their hands, dealerships which are privately owned will have to resolve the problem! DON'T BOTHER with them because they couldn't care less about their"consumers"! 2 cases: the ENGINE SERVICE LIGHT should be a RECALL..( 4 times back for repairs and still not working..$ Cost $600) 2nd: during service my radio knob was lost..maybe $.99 cent cost..NISSAN USA NO HELP AT ALL! Their "resolution, need to prurchase an entirely NEW radio system for $4500 in order to get a replacement knob!! Absolutely TRUE The dealership is really tyring to resolve the problem..but this is a RECALL item..and I should not have been charged! Love my Juke..but rthe company's run by morons! sorry!
